I can't see most of these strategies really paying off in the long run, as this is less about creating an online business and more about doing outsourced work for others. In the end, there are so many more hobbies and interests that can pay off much more than freelance writing, like coding or even design.None of those require you to have any money either. This book is targeted toward English writers, essentially, and if you want to create an online business or do freelancing in a different field other than English writing for $12/hr, maybe you should look elsewhere. But, if you enjoy English writing and if $12-15/hr sounds good to you, then go ahead and use these strategies! Either way, the usefulness of this book depends on the skill level of the reader and what they're interested in doing.

From the online image, it appeared to be something it is not. It looks like someone just copied pages and stapled them to an inside book cover.

A great source for basic information. I would have been happy to see a bit more in-depth information on some of these topics. However, I would still recommend this as a beginning for anyone who wants an excellent overview.
A website in this book - Freelancer - says that it is free, but they make you do a test, charge $5 (I am ok with that) and they charged me $300 for a subscription I did not order. This book is a retread of work at home scams, and this experience just supported that. Avoid this advice he writes about.
